Museum Night 2014

 

This year’s Night of Museums will take place under the motto “Great time in museums” on Saturday, June 7th, from 6pm till 2am.

The original date, 17th of May was used to collect humanitarian aid in 29 locations in Belgrade and in 24 cities across Serbia for flood victims.

 

During one single night 63 locations in Belgrade and 37 towns in Serbia will bring together more than 160 cultural institutions – museums, galleries and exhibition spaces with a total of 258 events.

The 11th Museum Night will open the doors of cultural institutions in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Sabac, Uzice, Ivanjica, Krusevac, Zrenjanin, Svilajinac, Nis, Pozarevac, Sombor, Jagodina, Leskovac ...

Last year, 10th Museum Night recorded almost half million of visits in participating cities throughout Serbia.

This year’s Museum Night presents the existing museums in a new guise, initiates the establishment of the new ones, breaks down barriers and promotes cultural heritage.
